
The left wing has been cleaned and the new tire mounted on the wheel. We plan to finish the right wing in the next couple of days, and hope to remount the wings Wednesday.
Follow Heritage Flight Museum's progress as they bring one of the last examples of this Cold War jet-interceptor from Montana to Bellingham, WA for restoration as a static display. The F-89J was flown by HFM founder William Anders in the early days of his distinguished flying career.
